Hi, I recently received an offer on one of my domains from Certified Offer Service, haven't heard of them before, so I did a bit background check on them, seems good, I'm considering accept the offer. But I have a few questions here. Do they only pay with check? I don't live in the States, it's not really convenient for me. And as a seller, do I need to pay any transaction fee? Thank you!

I have sold some domains via their service in the past.

As far as I remember the offer is all inclusive. The buyer pays any fees.

I live in the US and have always received a check, which can take awhile to actually receive.

Their information says -

1. After Network Solutions receives the funds from the Buyer, the domain name will be transferred to the Buyer. Network Solutions will then issue a check to the domain name registrant (the Seller) listed in WHOIS.

2. The Seller should ensure that the WHOIS information for the domain name is up to date so that the check for the offer amount can be sent to the correct person or organization. The Seller has three business days after the date of sale to update the WHOIS information.

3. Network Solutions will inform the seller via email when the check is sent out. It may take up to three weeks for the Seller to receive the check.

I am not sure if they offer any other payment options. You might want to contact them.

Thank you for being so helpful, Brad! Very informative! I have sent them a message, but haven't heard back from them yet, hopefully soon.

I have sold names in the past through the service, it's legit and you get the amount net, buyers pays all fees. But it was a check in the mail, not a super efficient way to pay.

Good to know, because if the check gets lost in the mail... but I don't think ACH will be an option if you are outside America. What the OP needs is a wire transfer, and if Netsol can do that he could ask his bank how much they will charge in fees.
Maybe he should contact Netsol before moving on with the transaction.

You should be ok:

As an alternative to postal mail, we can offer you the ability to have your funds sent via wire transfer at a cost of $25.00.

Thank you. Hope it's the same for sellers outside the US, I'm still waiting for their reply.

Because my domain was registered less than 60 days ago, soon 60 days though, instead of trying again, they just cancelled the transaction, and if the buyer still wants to buy it, they need to send in a new offer by paying for their service again, so unfair...

Typical Netsol...

So disappointed! It was a $x,xxx offer, I messaged Netsol, they wouldn't help, but to hope that the buyer would show up later

<cough> maybe <cough> the buyer contacts you directly next week...<cough> I bet netwurst has some hook in their sellers agreement with you though...

I sold a domain once using this service. It worked. It happened many years ago, and indeed they parsed whois to obtain a postal address to send me the check. Which payment method I do not like, being non-U.S. based I had to find a bank willing to cash this foreign check and they sent it to "collection" or something charging me extra for the service including fedex or dhl mail (from the bank back to U.S.) etc etc. Netsol still lives in year 1990 if they offer checks as one and only pmt method, for non-U.S. based sellers especially
