got an email today from dynadot that my domain Jewlery.org has been removed by central registry.

email - '' The central registry has removed the domain 'jewlery.org'. The registry has informed us that the domain should not have been registered but was allowed to be registered due to an error on their part. They have now removed the domain from our control.''

but just think this name removed from my account today and caught today by dropcatch by @Yusupbabay . strange.:xf.frown:

sorry for my weak english.

i think @DNGear is right. because i just move on from this matter. and try to reg. better name. but when i check a .org domain in dynadot domain search. then system say ' central registry is busy' for .org search only. but when i checked in other's register then they say available or not like normal search. i think this problem was happended in dynadot only.

Name is gone, it has gone thru the cycle, just move on, itโ€™s not even that great of a name

Really??
whether the name is good or not isn't the issue.
"THEY REMOVED A DOMAIN FROM HIS ACCOUNT AND IT WAS REGISTERED BY SOMEONE ELSE"
that's just really shitty.

It was a dropping domain, that somehow got put into his account, is he shown on any whois record, it doesn't make sense that gets assigned to dynadot, then namebright? If he feels the name is worth the fight, by all means, go for it.

They have to follow the drop path, and see what went wrong, I know dynadot can't beat dropcatch, so obviously it wasn't meant for them, unless when dynadot went to register it failed, but somehow they showed it internally. Most times dynadot shows in the message section as failed.

I had a similar problem with another registrar. Many hours and energy spent on something that was not my fault but in the end I did not get the name back. It was not that good anyway but I understand your frustration.

May I suggest you get away from dyndot and go with Epik or NameSilo for a better domaining experience. It looks as though NameSilo is very active on nps which is a huge bonus.

14:30 UTC - dropcatch time for .ORG

Since when the .org registry has premium pricing ?
The domain is worthless as a typo anyway. Are we talking about the right domain ?

Code:
Domain Name: JEWLERY.ORG
Registry Domain ID: D402200000004697114-LROR
Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.namebright.com
Registrar URL: [link removed]
Updated Date: 2018-01-05T13:02:43Z
Creation Date: 2018-01-01T23:59:33Z
Registry Expiry Date: 2019-01-01T23:59:33Z
Registrar Registration Expiration Date:
Registrar: DropCatch.com 859 LLC
Registrar IANA ID: 2618

Something is definitely off about this domain.
It was registered on 2018-01-01 by one of the DropCatch registrars. But look at the time - 23:59 UTC
This is off of any normal drop time. .ORG domains are dropped at 01:00 UTC, though they can't be registered at that point as they first go into this infamous "dropzone".
Starting 14:30 UTC registrar like dropcatch with dropzone-access can register those domains before they are available to the public some minutes later.

Maybe the domain was dropped during the add-grace period which can happen at any random time, thus this unusual registration date/time for a drop

You may use NameBright for handregs as well...

Yea, but don't they use their main accreditation for normal registrations instead of the "DropCatch XXX" registrars?

Yep

It is not mandatory to use their main accreditation...
Random accreditation was used from their pool...

They are available to the public immediately...
I had many registrations of .ORG at 14:30:XX just via API...

Whether its a great name or not, What happened at @Dynadot ? we should know that.

There was an error with PIR on a bunch of domains (approximately 100 through us, not sure how many w/ other Registrars).

They allowed some Registrars to "register" domains that were already registered. I'm not sure how the Engineering of that would work as it relates to who would be able to set Name Servers and so on, but in that case, PIR deleted the domains from our Registrar.

There was another error where they rejected some registrations that shouldn't have been. An Engineer mentioned we got some domains back, so that is what I assume this was in reference to.

Isaiah Bradley

PIR is just frontend...
Technically .ORG registry is maintained by Afilias.info

Can you explain why should jewlery.org not have been registered ?
