Car accident -- Please read

I was involved in a car accident last night. I was struck by a car but thankfully, no injuries. My driver wasn't so lucky... I only learned of his death as I was in the hospital. I will not be on NP much today but I nevertheless ask that you give your prayers to the victim. My friend didn't deserve that fate. I suffered only a few stiff/sore areas. But I'm still very distraught.

Thanks for your well-wishes. I'm kinda sleep-deprived and still feel a bit weak... I'll explain it all later. For now, I don't think I wanna be online much and thus, I'm gonna head outta here awhile.

Thanks for all your well-wishings. It was a freak accident. Justin and I were driving down the highway around 10pmET last night when he ran out of gas. We were hit while driving. Rather, Justin left to flag a car down. About 15 seconds later, a truck collided with the car, knocking me out of it, and continued forward, striking him. The driver and Justin were both sober. I don't think anyone knows exactly how it happened but we believe that the driver didn't see our car parked on the side of the road. Justin's mom totally snapped, I heard... his family needs as many prayers as they can get.

I am not surprised Justin's mum snapped. Death is never a good thing but parents do not expect to live beyond their children.

Very saddened to hear this, Randy...!!

Will say a prayer for everyone involved whenever I think of this horrible situation. Very difficult to lose a friend so suddenly.... lost one of my best friends in a freak accident last summer (he was only 18) and I know it's rough. If you need anything, let me know.
