I recently switched from 1and1 to GoDaddy because names started taking over 24 hours to register, and I would loose most of them. On 1and1, to park a page at parked.com I simply clicked on "cname" under dns settings and entered cname.parked.com. Done. However, with Godaddy, its a whole mess of settings and the godaddy rep told me I basically didn't know what a cname was and that I couldn't have done it as I said. Please how do I park a page on parked.com through godaddy using the cname?? I tried forwarding and it always just puts up a searchnut page and never works.

Thanks!!!!

In your control panel, tick the box by the names you want to park.
Click on the "Nameservers" menu item ( icon looks like a yellow barrel ).
Select the "Custom Nameservers" tab.
Enter ns1.parked.com, ns2.parked.com.
OK, confirm, yadda yadda yadda.

The only reason you would normally use cname as an option is if you want to receive email on the domain.

changing the nameservers worked beautifully. I only use cname cuz thats the one I tried when I first started domaining and never really gave it much thought. I appreciate it!!!
