I just upgraded to a new HP computer with an AMD Athlon Dual Core Processor 4200. I am a graphics designer and I use the KPT filter collection A LOT! (I've got the one by Corel), with Kai's Power Tools 5, 6, and 7 all in one collection.
Well, anyway, I cannot for the life of me get it to install on the new computer. I put in the disk, the autorun installer starts to work then freezes and does nothing. If you look at processes under the task manager it doesn't even show it running.
I've tried to install off the setup.exe on the CD too, same thing happens.
Are there any trick to this?
Anyone left out there using these filters? Or any Windows Guru's that could walk me through installing a difficult program? I have a legal serial number and everything, but I can't get to the option to even enter it. Like I said, it just freezes after I click "Install".
