Can't find the right keyword? Just ask!

I have one domain that was frustrating me because it was always one of my top domains in terms of traffic but always had zero clicks.

So I just put up a blank page with the words "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" and a text field and submit button. Within a few days I got 10 replies. So I used that info to choose a related keyword and finally the clicks are coming in :bingo:

Can you explain how you did this?

I am not a programmer or developer. There are a few of my domain names that are parked getting hundreds of hits a day (each) and no clicks. Obviously my keyword searches are not working.

Any insight, starting from the raw basics, would be helpful.

The easiest way is to sign up for a free account at www.bravenet.com. They have a email form script you can use. Just point your domain to that page instead of your parking page (change the dns or forwarding wherever the domain name is registered).

haha It's good to see that it's helping all of you. That's a good idea too, to be creative with the page. The one I had was pretty plain but you could make it more inviting for visitors to reply.
