I am relatively new to domaining and to NP.

Going over to the the 'Buy' section at NP...most of the domains I am interested in, seller wants me to have positive feedbacks.

How do I get a positive feedback if no one is selling to newbies?

You'll find some that people are liquidating that don't require it or you can always sell a domain.

Go to the bargain BIN. Find something there and buy it cheap (people will be less picky over X$ priced items than XXX+ ones)

I second the bargain bin and not just because I recently posted some $3 domains there but also because I used that to build some street cred here too.

Too many horror stories with new accounts

I figured things like DAN, makes life easy; free escrow; a lot easier than back in days.

Offer to show where you do have credibility eg your ebay score or feedback from micro jobs etc.
