It happened to me.
I bought a BIN domain (expiring domain), which was also listed for $xxx (Public auction)--both at Godaddy. I got it for the BIN price.
My rep explained it this way:
The previous owner listed the domain on Sedo's premium platform in a partnership with Godaddy, so Godaddy software cannot automatically remove these auctions because they're listed at Sedo. To get the old listing removed, you have to call the auction section of Godaddy, and they'll remove the old listing manually.
