I just finished a new web site called Adios_Bad_Credit.com and I'm looking for options to drive targeted traffic to the site. Any ideas/offers?

Hello :)

The most easy answer to this would be to start a PPC campaign.

Next option would be to make backlinks with help of Directory submissions, social bookmarkings, article writing and blogs reviews.

Other thing would be to put some online tools to link bait other webmasters.

Newsletter with good info and some small free reports will attract more visitors. (Which I can see is already there, but the word needs to go out.)

Relevant sites link exchange will also be useful.

Posting on relevant forums will also do.

Some keyword research and then the on page SEO will also help that page itself to rank better in search engines.

More content can be implemented with help of a simple blog on the site itself.

Tell a friend option is also a good way (Which is also implemented on the site)

Some others are long shot ideas but if the above all doesn't helps then the long shot ideas can also be useful as I can see the market you are targeting is quite competitive.

Thanks.

PPC always kills me, you never know if it's your competition checking you out, and you never really know how targeted the traffic really is. Is there a place where I could spend $100 on a small campaign to see if it works? Is there posting software for directories that works?

Other than making up some newsletter and spamming (I know I know) how else would you tell people you're out there. The only thing I really give away for free is the free credit report. I know that the other information is really good, and I get nice discounts clients couldn't get on their own, but how do you get the word out there?

I'd pay if it brought back in a return, but who's the right guy to pay? Thanks for your reply.

Ummmm, can you help spare me the waiting of HOW MUCH??? I see there's lots of information about using, but nothing that tells how much, AHHHHHHH how that drains me!!! What kind of traffic would I see for a 30 day campaign, and the big question, what does a 30 day campaign cost?

Thanks for the post,

Have you tried banner advertisements? You can get fairly cheap CPM rates with targeted traffic at AdBrite.com.

Using AdBrite, I setup targeting based on your subject material and preferred traffic origin (United States, I would assume) and got this:

For $5 a day, your banner would be displayed 33,464 times on 519 web sites related to your subject material. (CPM: $0.15)

Perhaps a week or two of banner advertising would be a good start?

I hope that helps a little! ;)

The banner ads looks interesting, and the text link thing seems to be worth the money. This is going to be fun!!!

That's an extremely competitive niche. Try to come up with something that a zillion other similar sites aren't doing.

Hi

I strongly believe that you must find some unique keywords to fine way to compete your competitors. Look at the your closest competitors and see where are they linking to, who are their partners and where they are getting links from.
I hope once you know all these factors, you will know what to do.
