Sounds like the domain is actually ABOUT to drop.
If that is true, NONE of these services can guarantee getting it. Your best bet is to use all of them if you really want the name. Pool and Snapnames are $60 (registration included). eNom looks to have raised their fee since I last used them to $90 overall.
If the name is worth that to you, use them all. If you are the only using Pool.com or Snapnames to try for the name and they acquire it, you will get the name. That used to be the case for eNom as well, but I can't guarantee that to be the case anymore.
If its NOT worth that to you, wait until after it drops and check out Snapnames. A lot of times they will pick up domains during the drop and resell them in a public auction. The starting price can range anywhere from $9-$99. There is, however, no guarantee they will get it. But that's probably going to be your best chance at a cheaper price.
There is also a chance that, if Snapnames DOESN'T get it after it is dropped and auction it, that whoever get it will redrop it. You'll just need to check it every day for a while. If the same owner has it for more than a week or so, then they decided to keep it.
My suggestion again : if you really want it, use Snapnames, Pool, and eNom Club Drop to try getting it this time. Sometimes domains can make it all the way back to open registration, but good ones rarely do.
