Hey can someone explain link popularity to me and how to get it higher? My site http://videohost.us has 0 link popularity for google and msn and 30 for yahoo.

Find link exchange partners and exchange links with them - that should get you a good link popularity.

- submit your sites to directories as many as you can, better if High PR..
- exchange links with other related sites
- join to forum and using your site as signature.

Build a site thats interesting enough that people link to it on their own.

Or do something newsworthy and send out a press release.

Both are ways of getting more links to your site. And as mentioned above, signature links and link exchanges with other webmasters are common methods.

Where do you send the press release? Are there web sites where you can post articles and news and press release relating to your site?
