Can someone explain the alexa rankings to me? The name is absolute garbage from what I can see.

alexa rankings are traffic rankings. they are measured by internet users who have the alexa toolbar installed on their browser. the rankings are calculated based on pageviews and unique pageviews. a lower alexa rank is better, and a rank of 6 million is pretty much garbage.
