Can I start this domain Flickering Business

Hi all,

After reading quite a lot and hearing from many many, I am thinking of starting a keyword domain Flickering business in samll scale, Since i am in India its very easy to find good developers and even great content writers so may be i will use them, Build some uniquie websites with a motto that i earn through serving.. In this regard I have few questtions


I got the infos and .biz domains of some high key words and when you search this keyword the .coms and ,.net and .org where no where since they were all parked is this means if i can put some unique content means will google will monetize me in the first page.

Also can i get the outsourcing business from clients all over the world once my companies performance is proved in records..

Also i know this is a tough question, if i am employing five and hosting some thing like 30 websites in a month, can any body guess it will approximately take how long to break even?

I am ready to put 100% will this will reap for me, My many powers are the cheap and talented labour pool which i can utilize and increase the head count easily..


My target is to build a company which is the number in Flickering website business in the world, As i feel this business is still in the very early stages and there is lot of room for developement...

Even i am planning for a content parking company.. Where you host the domains our developers will develope a minisited around with unique content so that your parking pages will get monetized by google


Any inputs will be greatly acceptly, I will appreciate by heart if you point out some loop hole in this idea...

Well, after reading your original post many times, it's still very difficult to understand what you're asking. But I can at least answer this question:

Answer: No. You may lose money. You may make a lot of money. Nobody can tell you this. The success or failure of your efforts does not depend on how many employees or how many websites you have. It depends on your personal abilities and experience to develop and promote your websites.

i was a little unsure if your business plan is to hold mini sites and get the revenue, or flip - which means build them up and then sell for a profit, and then repeat. i think hold is the best bet but it depends on your skills.

you were talkin about .biz verses .com etc. whatever you get you'll need some basic seo. i've written a really basic SEO guide made up from a whole lot of sources which should get you started.

the fact that the other keyword names are parked is an advantage for you. but remember that any domain can optimize for a keyword - see who is on top when you type in your keyword - can you beat them? you do get a slight advantage having the perfect keyword domain, but also others argue there might be a slight disadvantage to having a .biz or .info (still being debated).

i think you're right - the cheap labor in india is a big advantage you have. but unless you already have money, the best bet is to start yourself. it really doesn't cost much (only time) to develop sites. later you could get help with writers, linkers, and programmers. give yourself 6-12 months to make any decent money though.

your converse disadvantage will be that the content you write will really seem like it is not written for an american, if you are going after the US market. Not just language, but the subtlest things can be a giveaway.

i'm not sure what the CPC rates are like in india (i think good?), if ok i would consider getting good keywords in .asia or .co.in or .in and aim for your local market. you will know that scene better than anyone in the west and have a huge advantage - it's a big and growing market.

i'm writing from outside the US and i find exchange rates are great for me - to earn $5000 of my dollars i only need to earn $4000 US dollars and it buys much the same amount of stuff. i imagine the effect is multiplied in india, and i've often thought this business would be my strategy if i lived over there. some website developers from the US even move to places like south east asia - same checks, bigger houses.

Some great advices..

My idea of developemnt is to target that special kewords for example like "ac inverter"

these kind of high technical words which fellow deomaniers will not concentrate much,,

and i will get a great chance of getting optimized in SEO and get in to the front page of google.

What this means i will get a decent traffic i can use this traffic data and sell to a inverter comapny(like that many) i guess this kind of special keywords goods three or four informative pages will get me in front page, and which in turn give decent traffic


A strong case for me to prove this i have TeachersDay.net, Search "teachers day" in google how many good pages we can find.. very very few..

Good deent content will ofcourse take my teachersday.net in front page, Teachers day is a universally celebrated event, So you can guess how much beneficial i will be..

This kind of less content developer interested high traffic domains are my target..


Reffering to andy yes exchange rate is quite high here, and few thousands dollars and i am in the game for full time.. CTR rates in India are quite low .. In india can only earn if you are very famous website if not very difficult..


For Gene getting good quality developers and content writers are not a problem at all in india as you can see 70% of US software business are outsourced to India. What the problem with most the professional people in India is they dont thing big they are quite satisfied with the paycheck with the MNCs here which they thing big(i dont) I think i can take a small step towards reveloutinising this trend..

I know its very very difficult but i also know its not Impossible.. Cheers
