Can anyone catch up with GoDaddy?

I was reviewing a number of domain name registrars recently to get a feel for who is growing/declining and while I always knew GoDaddy was the largest by a country mile, can anyone actually catch up and be a real competitor to them?

One result will be that many domain names registered with them will be transferred to DYNADOT and people (the domain name owners) will appreciate it.

I think end users will always go to Godaddy as their registrar of choice.

When it comes to my personal choices and ease of use, I personally like Dynadot and Namebright.
