Currently my www.domain.com does a 302 redirect to domain.com... I was reading somewhere that said that this is not search engine friendly. Is this true? And if so, does anyone know how I go about changing it to a 301 redirect? Is it something I can change in the .htaccess file, or is it something my host would have to change for me?

Thanks for any help, sorry I've been posting a lot of questions in here, but I'm completely new to SEO, developing my first real site, so I want to make sure I'm doing everything properly :)

If you are using the Redirect thing in .htaccess, change it to RedirectPermanant. Or if you are doing a Rewrite add (space)[R=301] to the end of the line.
