Producer/Director James Cameron will announce Monday finding Jesus' tomb, claiming that Jesus was not resurrected and had a son with Mary Magdalene.

In a new documentary, Producer Cameron and his director, Simcha Jacobovici, make the starting claim that Jesus wasn't resurrected --the cornerstone of Christian faith-- and that his burial cave was discovered near Jerusalem. And, get this, Jesus sired a son with Mary Magdelene.

No, it's not a re-make of "The Da Vinci Codes'. It's supposed to be true.

What Christian would believe this. I imagine that this will be frowned upon overall.

It will be interesting to watch... it's not a new theory and I'd like to see what evidence they present.

Ehh, this is just another attempt by Hollywood to discount Christianity. Christianity has stood for thousands of years, and I don't think that anything that Cameron claims to come up with will change a thing.

So Cameron claims to have found Jesus' body, huh? But how can he prove that whatever he found is, indeed, the body of Jesus? As a prominent archeologist points out, (1) Jesus' [earthly] father Joseph was a poor carpenter who could've afford a luxury crypt for his family, and (2) the names on the caskets were all common Jewish names. What exactly is Cameron comparing the body's DNA to? Does he have some other proven "Jesus DNA" on hand?

The DNA evidence part was what got me; the only thing I see they could possibly prove a relation which really doesn't mean much. I could care less about something like this to be honest but it did provide me with a good chuckle much like the Divinci Code did. There's nothing startling about the claim, it's been made for a long time and each time all sorts of tombs show up that later fade into the background as hoaxes.

Being of no religious beliefs I am interested in seeing it. It will be airing march 4th here . Here is the part that gets me. What evidence other then a book is there anyway? I mean what real concrete evidence does any religious organization have to prove everything is the bible is true?

Now on the other hand, James Cameron is not the one who found all of this. This stuff was found in 1980 by some archaeologists. Sure is is capitalizing on the documentary but who's to say this is not the evidence people have been looking for?

You have people like me (neutral ) going wouldn't that be something if all these years what people believed was the truth was not .

But even if all the information did point to all this as true, no religious organization would believe it anyway. And if it is all a hoax they would all say we told you it was not real.

Either way it will be a interesting show.

Guys, it's called faith for a reason. If you don't have it, you don't have it. And you're correct, there's nothing that any man can show me that will shake my faith. It's the whole apples to oranges thing.

If this was "it" then it surely would not lay around for a quarter of a century. That tells you enough right there. It gets the money though, and that's what counts.

you are correct sir. I tried to make the point you just made to someone at work today who was on a rampage about James Cameron. I simply said to her that if by chance real evidence was in front of her today, something that could not be denied and would completely rewrite everything her religion taught her she would not believe it.

Im not taking sides, and I do think this is a huge payday for him. But he is a very well respected and well know for doing his research and getting his facts straight to the best of his ability. And maybe this could be something he really believes in. You cant put a man down for that. Im going to watch it with an open mind
