Are there any Canadians here involved in auctions at Pool.com
these would be secured domains won by Pool
(TBR.ca drop every Wednesday) and auctioned off

There is one bidder I meet up with time and time again - and figure I have cost him $$$ and he has cost me the same - Pool is the winner on all accouints

so if your pool_1481 we need to have a pow-wow

hmm, ive seen this person many times too in dot CA auctions, and i often wondered if it was really a real person or some fake bidder created by pool themselves because he was into so many auctions and sometimes seemed to bid much higher than what i valued the names at.

the domain(s) won by pool_1481 all maintain the pool parking page well after the sucesfull backorder - I just checked the WHOSIS and see a name - from momentus.ca a pool affilaiate

this individual/corporation has cost me some $$ with riduculas bidding

ian,

I am new to pool and I have about 15 - 20 names on my backorder list and some of them deleted on the 14th and 15th. I notice at the top that it says "within 5 days" but it is now over that with some of the names. I am not in any auctions...what's going on? I don't understand what is taking so long. Thanks for any info. :)

I'd check the cira.ca whois for some of the names. You'll likely see that Pool didn't get some of the names. Pool is getting killed trying to get the best .ca names.

There's another thread about this guy somewhere here. I think I read he's legit with big pockets or works for preferred clients of pool?

Yes, they do shill their own auctions...

Fraudulent activity like this is one of the main reasons i have almost completely stopped using Pool.com and other drop services since this summer...

1481 = 100% Fraud....dont waste your money going up against fake bidders like this...you're just encouraging them to continue screwing people if you do...
