For those of you who don't know - here is part of an email I received from eNom:

YOU MUST TAKE ACTION NOW TO RETAIN FULL MANAGEMENT RIGHTS TO YOUR DOMAIN NAME.

Although you purchased your name at RegisterFly, eNom is the actual registrar of record for your domains. As we are severing our relationship with RegisterFly, we are aware that this may have an impact on you as the domain owner.

If you were not contacted it's likely that the domains are are the RF accredited account. Check whois....and if you see Enom..they are at Enom and you need to contact them.

You can PM me a list of your domains for me to check as I have a tool to do it.

I checked all 55+ names in my Reg'fly account using Domain Name Analyzer and around 10-12 showed Enom as the registrar. The rest all say Registerfly. Am I not doing it right? Is there some other way to check that I missed? :yell:

Try contacting enom then. Is your email right in the whois? Are you using whois guard?

Oh my god what i can say .
registerfly.com is the worst registrar i ever used ,currently i have 300 domains with them wich i will be moving shortly after i losse few premiums domains register back in 1999.
Also few months ago i pay $209. to get one name out of redemptiom,righ now is three months since i pay,since one month i contact them to get the domain or a refund without luck.
I allready complaint with icann,but looks like icann it dosen't care anything.
i'm tired to be in the phone in standby waiting for hours just to get disconected after.
i open plenty of support tickets evry week just to get tickets closed without any answer.
I don't know what else i have to do in order to get my money back.

HI All

So what do we do if our domains at RF do not show Enom in the whois as the Registar.

I only have 7 domains there and i think I will just put them up for sale in a job/lot but im sure no one will buy them now,

I really don't want to pay the transfer fee to move these 7 domains...

Any ideas.

The funny thing is that Enom wants $160 to renew an expired domain...no way buddy.

That's not true. You can renew a domain for regfee whilst it's in the Renewal Grace Period. The fee for getting it out of Redemption Grace Period is $160.

i try to change dns several times today for two of my domains but is not working??

Well I have some domains in RegFly, ones I've bought, with enom listed as registrar. I didn't get an email about the changes, but read this thread.

I went over to enom, created an account, but couldn't work out how to link my regfly domians with my new enom account. So I submitted a ticket. Eventually got a response - bolier plate text that didn't answer my question. So I submitted another question with more details - which remains unanswered.

So if that is customer support, I don't want it!

I'm leaving RegFly, but steering clear of enom.

Oh my, oh my... I just read the whole thing. Amazing, to say the least. I am so ticked off and worried right now!!! If Registerfly loses accreditation, what happens then? Is it the registry's (or ICANN's) responsibility to move the names to another registrar?

My email wasn't right in the whois, unfortunately. I changed my email addy, emailed Enom twice and sent them a support ticket and finally got this email today from Enom (after 4 days)...

So that we may get this domain restored for you, please do the following: Note: this process only works for domains that are registered with eNom the Registrar. You can find which registrar manages your domain at www.WHOIS.net

1. Go to www.enomcentral.com and create an eNom account, here you will establish an enom account.
2. Email a screenshot from within your RegisterFly account showing the domain, so that we may verify domain ownership
3. Email a copy of your photo ID (Driver’s license)
4. Email your eNom login ID, (The one you created on enomcentral.com)

Note: Please include your domains in text format in the email, along with the screenshot so that we may expedite your request.

Once the above has been provided and validated we will have the domain(s) placed into your new eNom account within 2 business days.

While email works best, you may also fax your request to 425-952-0794

I have a domain name at RegisterFly.com that is regged until 2009. Once I have the money in my PayPal account I will move it over to NameCheap where I can feel more safe about my domains .
