I have a guy who bought two different LLLL.coms from me on Ebay. Slow to pay both times, but he paid. Never any response to any of my emails.

One purchase was a month ago, and the guy never accepted the push at GoDaddy. Another name is at Moniker, and despite repeat emails, he has never sent his Moniker info. In fact, he has never responded to any of my emails about anything.

One name is expiring in about 5 days (at Godaddy). I don't want to renew and then have him come around demanding the freshly renewed domain. I am considering just refunding the money and cancelling the sale. Both names were sold and low prices, and he paid, so I don't think there's any angle behind it. He's probably just very disorganized.

Any ideas?

maybe he forgotten it, just send last email, and then if no reply just cancel the deal and refund the money.

or maybe there's no isp access from where he is.

Bizarre. Maybe something happened to him, is he still active on Ebay?

I take it PPC won't cover the renewal fees? I'd renew if on the off chance they do, then keep them and wait to see if he ever comes back. Otherwise not sure, as it could be tricky legally if you sold them on.

Thanks. The company has a London-based website where they are selling a portfolio of 1000s of domains, and may be a Mid-East company. No phone numbers listed. I hate to blacklist them, because they could be good customers, but so far more trouble than anything.

I've assumed you've tried contacting him via the ebay message service rather than his email....might be worth a try if you havent......

If there's potential future business with this company as you suggest, I'd renew the names. :imho:

They actually picked up the name. No email or other correspondence. I suppose in a month I will go through the same with the other yet unclaimed name. Thanks for all the suggestions!

we just ran into a similar scenario and we renewed the names. good customer service can mean future sales.
