Business registration, Name Pty Ltd or Name.com??

Business registration, which is best? Name Pty Ltd or Name.com??

I'm not sure if I'm going about this the right way!

When registering a business name which is purely an Information Technology Website, is it best to register the business as name.com or would you register as Name Pty Ltd.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Do not register .com part. Once your business grows, you will certainly add some other extensions.

I agree without the ".com" Your name would be "XXXX" pvt. LTD./ LLC

I totally understand however can you explain the reasoning why Realestate.com.au would float on the Australia Stock Exchange as Realestate.com.au instead of Realestate Pty Ltd or Inc??
