Is it an effective way to sell domains?? Targeting the right people of course, e.g decision makers or CEOs of the companies youre reaching out to.

Has anyone had success with bulk emailing?

"Bulk email" isn't targeting people, it's spam.

Targeted email means you individually and manually write an email, based on who you are emailing.

There's nothing wrong with emailing people with something they genuinely might be interested in or benefit from, even if you're only doing it out of self-interest, and if your domain is genuinely good enough to be of interest to a "bulky" number of people, they won't need to be emailed about it anyway.

ok then its not bulk emailing as in emailing any random person, im talking about sending emails to more than 1 individual at a time who is targeted to that field where they would be interested in at least looking at the domain, it saves the hassle of re-sending the same message over and over again, the only thing I do that would be different is refer to them by their name.

The question was has anyone had success with it.

If you own the "COM" of a major brand, great. Contact the team, see if they want it

Aside from that...this bulk emailing idea etc is on the unwanted spam side. Very easy way to get blacklisted and annoy people. IMO
