I have a new phone number and am wondering if there is a quick way to change the reg. info on a couple of hundred GoDaddy domains. It appears in 4 places eg: reg contact, technical, admin, billing.

Ive changed my buyers profile so new ones are correct.

Try going into your Domain Manager. If you hover over the check mark icon at the upper left of the list, you can Select All Pages.

Click on the Contact icon near the top of the page. You'll probably have to re-submit the entire contact information, but if each contact type has the same details you can save a little time by copying to all.

If you didn't actually want to update the info on all the domains in the account, then I suppose you could go through each page and do this simply by checking off all the domains on the page that you did want to change.

If any other parts of the contact information are different on some domains, and you don't want that information to become alike, I'm not sure what you could do there. Might want to call customer service in that case.

Thank JGK, the info on all of them will be updated the same so that should work great.

Just be careful because they make you agree to a 60 day transfer freeze if you change any of the contact/whois data. (can't leave the registrar, can be pushed) I have heard that they do allow it sometimes but take note. Can anyone one confirm this?

Thanks for the info as well. I need to do this myself. I am also curious though about the freeze mentioned above.

Yes I can confirm this, GoDaddy had a check box to agree to the 60 day hold before the whois change.

I thought if you left the name fields unchanged the 60 day thing didnt apply? So if you just changed phone number then no 60 day hold?

I didnt change my name, just the phone and email.
Maybe the new email triggered the hold.
