There's some reports that came out from various sources like SpamHaus, The Washington Post, and KnuJon on how 90% of the spam and malware companies use domains registered by the same 20 registrars, and they themselves sometimes host dozens of other registrars, and a huge hidden industry exists amongst these people:

Oh what a tangled web we weave! Scumbags the lot of them, i hit one of the malware sites a couple of months ago with my old computer, it ended up with over 60 viruses and went totally haywire, only thing i could do was pull the cords out and buy a new one. These people are evil.
