Anyone here guys

Do you know if there is some kind of compensation for suggest a name when we suggest other peoples domain names other than ours?

How can you take a marketplace seriously that approved and published a name like Dickhead.com... The cherry on top? It's priced at $100K.
🤣

Agree. That is not good. Not good at all.

"A comedic name"

"Wise cracks and good humor"

What are they smoking over there?

Also not particularly impressed with their overall domain knowledge. Who's valuing names like OurTube.com for $350,000 ... Just ridiculous.

I didn't even think that service existed anymore. I haven't participated in years.

@Embrand Participate again then as it's so cool helping companies decide their future brand name identity even if it's our name or not (but hope they choose ours if its relevant to what they want).

I think many tried and it did not lead to sale, so basically they assumed it was waste of time.

I agree there with you yet nothing is waste of time as we learn something from everything we do.

Sure. But you have 24 hours in a day and got to prioritize.

Yup....You can find 5 to 10 mins a day for it even with the busy schedule. That's all it takes

As there are just 2 to 3 Requests a day so 5 to 10 mins would be more than enough for a day

Email BB support, ask them to remove the name, i think there is 30 day notice, BB can confirm the exact number of days.

Just had a batch of domains submitted on 10/18 reviewed today:

Indoor / Capital = not accepted
Medicinal / Capital = accepted
Outdoor / Bloom = accepted

Get / Fronted = not accepted
Chronic / Bloom = accepted
Debt / Kick = not accepted

Chronic is a very negative term. I am baffled that both you and BB thought it is a great idea to start a business with a name like that. How can Bloom be Chronic?!

"
chron·ic
/ˈkränik/

adjective
  1. (of an illness) persisting for a long time or constantly recurring.
    "chronic bronchitis"

    Similar:
    persistent
    long-standing
    long-term
    constantly recurring
    incurable
    immedicable
    • (of a person) having an illness persisting for a long time or constantly recurring.
      "a chronic asthmatic"
    • (of a problem) long-lasting and difficult to eradicate.
"the school suffers from chronic overcrowding" "

While you might pass on this name, others may puff puff it.

reference ChronicStartups.com

And while most things chronic is negative, as your definition notes chronic bronchitis, not all chronic coughing is the result of bronchitis.

Some see a cough, and think, "I gotta try me some of that." Specifically referring to chronic that just so happens to create itself through a process plants know as bloom.

Good luck! Hope works out for you and a startup has the same interpretation and their clients/partners get it too ))

I wonder if ChronicDomainer is available ))

My mind automatically processed it as being a marijuana reference since chronic is a nickname for weed. I like it a lot, but I would prefer it in reverse ( Bloom Chronic ) for a product oriented company.

Congrats @Grilled

Why? For a 420 domains weekly newsletter or forum? Most other ways of looking at those combined terms is mostly negative.

If anything, StonerDomainer is available, and it can reference a portfolio of a Stoner + Domainer, but this is somewhat restrictive since Domainer is an industry term. Wouldn't StonerDomains be the better domain to brand on? ;)

Replace suffix Domainer with suffix Domains, and you'll find ChronicDomains has been regged since 2008.

Congrats @Grilled

I appreciate that.

And while BloomChronic is avail for handreg, I passed (not puffed) on that because (to me) chronic works best as an adjective, not noun, when the suffix can be used as a noun. In this case, though bloom can be a verb, I see it as a noun.

eg.

ChronicWeed > WeedChronic
ChronicEdibles > EdiblesChronic

edit: After thinking about it, I can see the use behind Bloom Chronic. Thank you.
