Right and when it is make an offer that is just a hassle, Buy it now can cost you money, if someone hits the buy it now on TigerCloud.com it is $1,500 instead of $7,600.
I'm not sure you can own 500 or more names that are for sale and not have this happen. The real issue comes in when a buyer CEO/CFO etc sees both listings. If the GD listing is much higher then it's really no problem for BrandBucket. One of the BB competitors doesn't care if you list elsewhere as long as it's at a higher price which actually makes sense if you think of it. It's almost like a boost for their site.

haan but I believe BB may have hit some sort of saturation level with domains ending ly. They have rejected one of my domains buddyly.com.
Interesting-we just gave them GreatBuddies.com -perfect obviously for a social site etc and it's 10 year old aged-we'll see if BrandBucket takes it. This is a name we can sell so it doesn't really matter but think it would sell fast on BB-we'll see.

About two months ago we offered BB 10 ( and told them we could give them over 200) of the very best single "Category Killer" words in a certain extension-we own the single words Insurance CreditCards Coupons etc in this extension and they said they wanted to wait re new extensions even though these are obviously very valuable one word names-my point is in six months when they clear out the "ly's" a bit ask to resubmit the name and they may need it at that point. Good luck.

I don't think "yly" works particularly well, I dont think its a bad name but I can understand why it got rejected (no previous sales for domains ending in yly). I had Modusly rejected earlier this month also.

Just curious-saw your "BrandBucket" pre approved auction-have you sold any that way? It shouldn't really matter to BB they still get the name and the buyer is guaranteed an approved listing-not a reject.

It's actually a great idea for you and BB because they end up with a seller that will leave it there on BB forever if need be and your ROI is very high. Good luck.

For anyone interested in .ly names please go to Park.io auctions That's Mike Carosn's site (great guy to deal with) as an example Exotic.ly is now selling for $99 -I don't buy .ly or this one I would.

From what I could tell, those are domain backorders, not simple "buy now" domains.

Those auctions aren't complete. For example, Exotic.ly has 3 bidders and the auction ends in 5 days. It started at $99, but I doubt it will end there. I don't see any "completed" auctions shown... where are you getting that they sell for $99?

EDIT: Found completed listings... on the first 4 pages ONLY 3 ended at $99.... https://app.park.io/auctions/index/closed

Also, my comment was because you said "as an example Exotic.ly is now selling for $99 -I don't buy .ly or this one I would." But that isn't true - its in auction starting at $99... anyway, I don't want to stray from the BB topic, but found your post misleading and was trying to let others know so they don't waste their time like I did.

Thanks!

2 more of my domains went live today, Azevia and Muradu. Although I don't really like design for Muradu, I'm glad the designer for Azevia actually included a fish in the design.

@svede While I wish @London555 hadn't shared the site, now that its out you will see that MANY of the domains do in fact sell for $99. I liked it as it had very little competition. Buried within those three bids was one bidder who bid first and is the winner if no more bids come along. Most of the time the initial bidders are just hoping for a deal and dont bid again. Yes occasionally they d, but if you look at the past auctions the prices are generally just slightly higher than $99.

If you use the chat feature, Sedo remove them instantly

Thanks. Yes, in my experience that will do that if you have a handful. I think I had like 50+ last time and they asked that you email them.

Have they removed 10+ for you when you go through chat?
