It is a list of Marketing Managers for A LOT of leading companies. When you click on the person's name link, you'll find a bio and sometimes an email address. As many of us know, the "contact us" link on a site isn't always the best route when trying to reach someone with decision making power. You really need to talk the manager of marketing to get anywhere.
If you don't see an email address, I have a few tips to get around that too.
These have worked for me in the past:
1. Google the person's name. Lots of times there are other websites that have info on the person with their email address. I just found the marketing manager for Ford this way. (Common sense, but I thought I'd throw it in)
2. Try sending an email in this format, [email protected].. (This has worked for me several times, I even made my biggest sale to date this way) Also try it without the dot. But for some reason the "dot" in the name is standard for a lot of companies.
3. Call the corporate office of the company and ask for the person in question's email address or voicemail. (Again, common sense, but it sounds a lot better to ask for John Doe's email than , "Could you give me the email address to the head of marketing?"
Like I said, a lot of you guys probably already use something similar to this, but I'm sure it can help someone out.
