.com Braden Pollock sold Sword.com for $1,500,000

In this weeks episode of DomainSherpa, Braden Pollock revealed that he has sold Sword.com to Sword Health for $1,500,000. Braden revealed that his asking price was $3,000,000 but chose to sell it for 50% less to reinvest the money.

He reinvested the money from the sale and bought domains like Cultivate.com, Compete.com, Regina.com, Common.com and a collection of one word .net's and .org's. He also revealed that he was in the process of buying Monarch.com but was beat to it by Andy.

Braden bought the name Sword.com for $350,000 less than 4 years ago so this was a nice 5x. Congrats to Braden on the great sale!

Great deal for both parties.

The quality of names he acquired with the proceeds from that sale is enough to offset whatever money he feels he left on the fable by selling at a 50% discount.
