What is your opinion regarding .US domains vs .CO.UK domains?

Which ones are more relevant, valuable, easy-to-sell, and generate more revenue from parking?

How do these compare to .NET, .ORG and .INFO domains?

Personally I think .uk is far better, of course I am biased but the numbers speak for themselves.

In country codes we have the second highest saturation of the market in the world and everyone in the country knows that .co.uk is our extension.

Put next to .us there is no comparison, especially as Americans as a whole do not know theirs is even there and while traditionally Americans pay more for domains that us English, they are a far tougher sell when it isn't a .com

What criteria are you hoping to base this comparison on, end sales? average price? ease of selling? market saturation?

There is a company out there that publishes valuations and other data on domain extensions. Pretty close to reality. - domainsindex.com and go to ratings.

How about .co.uk? Is it as popular as .uk?

Ease of Selling mostly.

You dont have any .uk extension. You only have co.uk, org.uk, ltd.uk, etc

.co.uk isn't better, I think it's more popular worldwide, but only because it's what nearly all UK websites use. .co.uk is to UK as .com (and not .us) is to USA.

But the question was: .co.uk vs .us :p

There really is no comparison at this time...when you think that 98% of English know of our extension compared to virtually none in America using theirs....

I think the main problem is the nexus rules, not allowing outsiders to take them...therefore no one has really gone after them

If they open it up fully then everyone will jump on them and businesses will finally know of them wholesale.

I think Americans still think .com is their default extension lol
