Essentially the domain was deleted from the registry due to the fact that the WhoIs information was never updated.
This is not the first time this has happened, and it's a strategy that other buyers use to snatch domains from owners.
Pretty horrendous in my opinion.
Question: Does this increase the value of .COM.AU because of how strict heir policies are, or does it devalue the namespace because of how easy it is to lose a domain.
I think it makes the namespace a bit shaky, in addition to easy confusion with .COM.
Thoughts?
