But the numbers are not any random numbers, they have meaning. But I guess I will have to hang on to them and market like hell to get something out of them :(

Thanks for the inputs!

Or, you could delete them. IMHO, they're not worth marketing.

Reg fee.

I would kill them too. . . sorry. Numbers (meaningful or not) will devalue a name because they are more difficult to remember.

IMO, numbers kill their value as generics - suddenlythey are no longer generic. A biofuel company might reg cleanplanetbiofuel.com or something (I have no idea if its taken) instead of paying a premium for yours - they're both equally easy to remember. IMO. IF you develop it yourself its a dif story of course.

Very good advice from all... thanks!
All the while I thought the 247/ 365/360 part is brandable. I guess I am wrong. Anyway, will just keep them for 1 year and see if it turns out well.

Thanks again and cheers!

i would say keep this one for the future as it may be worth a lot if some biofuel company decides to buy ur name ;)

They are brandable and don't let anyone tell you they aren't. From what I've seen, '101' and '360' tend to have more appeal, though, than '247' or '365'.

I see a lot of people say 101 or 360 added to names make them valueless. I wish I could recall the source of an article I read about 2 years ago. It was about a businessman who spent tens of thousands of dollars registering just '...360' names. He made millions selling them.

I agree if you told someone the domain name they might try to spell ajax247.com like
ajaxtwoforseven.com it just make it hard for people to remember. making the name worthless to anybody but you that is if you are going to use it.

Yea...I remember I read somewhere about the names with 360 at the back. I guess its just the way how the names are branded. If a domainer just wants to flip it fast, I think the names are regg fee. But if someone wants to develop something with the name, it is easy to brand.

The 360 is made popular by Microsoft's Xbox 360. Whereas the 365 & 247 are "somewhat" generics from frequent daily usage and ad exposures. Coupled with a strong generic word, in a competitive market, should make the domain valuable...IMHO.

FYI, I have just regg another 2 domains: Domaining247.com and Domainer247.com which I am also developing into a news site for our industry.
