Big sales at a young age?

What's the biggest sale at the youngest age you've heard of? You don't have to be a certain age to be in the domain biz and it's not that hard to work your way up there and make some great sales.

I've just recently turned 16 and my biggest sale is high $xxx

I'm in the same boat - I thought a couple sales at $xxx and one at $1xxx were good for a 17 year old last year but sheesh.

Actually I read somewhere that some US law requires that the registrant / website owner must be at least 13 years of age to own a domain name.

Other than that, a lot of the minors do payments with PayPal, which is an illegal stunt nobody seems to care about. Upon signing up with PayPal, the user agrees that he is 18 or older (I'm pretty sure)

I have nothing to hide. I've been doing stuff on the internet since I was 10 and I never lied about my age on forums or anything. People put me down a lot of course because face it... 10 year old? LOL... whatever.

i dont believe that is the case... us goverment stats that a user must be 13 to sign up for any service... I dont feel that paypal requires users to be 18 because anyone could have a bankaccount at anyage... i look into it...

I agree fully but a recent "fight" with somebody about me being 16 and my skills in whatever made me think of this topic.

When I was 13 I sold a domain for $90.

When I was 20 sold one for $9000 that I reg'd a year earlier. Pretty good profit.

Actually I didn't contradict myself in the least bit. I said I had been doing "stuff" on the internet at 10. That stuff involved building websites, using forums, playing games, msn, and other stuff. I didn't start doing much business on the internet until I was 15ish.
