What's the biggest sale at the youngest age you've heard of? You don't have to be a certain age to be in the domain biz and it's not that hard to work your way up there and make some great sales.

I agree fully but a recent "fight" with somebody about me being 16 and my skills in whatever made me think of this topic.

I agree fully but a recent "fight" with somebody about me being 16 and my skills in whatever made me think of this topic.

I was not the one in this "fight" but I think a major issue is doing business with anyone under the legal age to be contractually bound by an agreement. In addition, parents of a minor might take issue with someone who provided their son or daughter with a significant amount of funds of which they were not aware.

Some young folks here act quite professional and I tip my hat to them for such an early start.

You bring up a good point Fundraiser which is why it is important that parents know what is going on with their kids. I'm just glad my dad supported my choices since I was young!

Yes That's true. The parents could very well claim that their son/daughter knew nothing about the whole thing.

I could never deal with a minor. For legal purposes it would be a nightmare.

You are very wise... You may have to refund the money later on and there is no guarantee what damage could have been done to the domain (lowered PR, traffic, used improperly, etc.)...
