I researched some data about the parking domains.

But, I found a problem. I think it seems a trick.(I'm not sure)

Let me explain to you.

there are several domains can have value to parking and get revenue.

1, type-in
2, typo
3, backlinks
4, short-domain ( domain brand, for selling )

I think, in addition, no other valuable.

But, But the problems is below:

for example, if a domain is not type/typo and no backlinks,
and the domain more than 5 words, why someone also register it?

if a domain more than 5 words, and no backlinks at all,
I think people can't type in it, and this domain will no traffic.

But why someone register the longer domain crazy and parking at bodis or ds voodoo or etc?

:hehe:

Some domains are parked not for the PPC revenue (that may be nil), but in order to allow potential buyers to make offers or just get in touch with the holder through a contact form.
When somebody is interested in a domain, the first step is usually to check if the domain is being used and how.

Good Question and Thought

Why will anyone register a name and park it at bodis or voodoo when that name has no typo or typein traffic and such names are more than 5 letters.

1- If a name is more than 5 letter it does not mean its bad or it will not not have type in traffic.

2- A domainer may see some potential in that name that is the reason he have bought that name and parked it. more likely it will have a Buy now or Offer link on the parked page for domain purchase inquiry

3- Parking is not always to earn money. Its better to park a name than keep it dead.
