Wow, that's high for a .in name! Do you have any other info on the sale?

Nope, sorry, no other info.

.IN should become a significant domain space. That's the first Sedo sale of a .in that I have heard about. The Indians excel in health, science, tech, software and one could assume .in will have a meaningful place in India's society.

Cheap in my opinion, and certainly not the first significant .in / .co.in sale.

Who purchased it?
Perhaps a developed website will soon be up to get some insight as to the need for this domain name, specifically ... IMHO ...

I recently sold Warning.in at SEDO for a couple hundred dollars, and had multiple offers on other Indian domains listed there. Nothing fantastic, but a positive sign. Some are my Indian domains are getting decent traffic too.

I agree, for a term like "vacation" the buyer got a bargain.

A solid .IN sale though.

Which ones, and to whom ... were you effective in marketing directly to End users? :talk:

Thanks much.

Offers and sales were via Sedo, also the sale was posted on this forum :)

I've been on vacation ... which one sold that was posted on this Forum, and which one had turned down bids from four separate "Buyers"? And, did you market any of the domain names directly to End users? :talk:

Thanks much, apologize for any inconvenience.

I won't call 1300 Euro "big" for a name like vacation.in, but its good to see the new cctlds picking up traction as the years go by for forward looking domainers. Many say .COM is the way to go, without realising that playing the .COM game at this point in time is like waddling in a cave of bat dung, crap all over with millions of parasitic insects ready to eat your bum out.
