Big Buyers Take Their Money to T.R.A.F.F.I.C. While No Shows Keep On Shopping

The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. With a lot of the biggest domain buyers busy at the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. conference last week there were fewer high dollar sales in the open market, but a dozen 5-figure domains still squeezed into the Top Ten (a 3-way tie for 10th produced the odd number). On the new extension front an Ohio food company continued to pour money into .US domains. Read all about it through the link below:

Man, I've put in too many late nights the past week - must be getting bleary eyed. You are right of course Mole - fixed that as well. Hope you guys are not billing me for proofreading services - I would be out about 10K right now. :)

Vaniga.net - I also thought that was a typo, but for a very different word. :o :red:

The buyer has been so active that their own purchases have been putting upward pressure on prices. As a result, they have understandably started keeping the details of some of their buys quiet. For example, they acquired a real gem, Chocolate.us this week, but the price paid is unknown. They also picked up Almonds.us and many other less common, but good quality names at prices that were unannounced.

I have seen an increased interest in many of my "food" related .us domains (Wine/Beer/Cheese in particular), I can only hope that it is a result of this buyer ;) A random domain (cask.us) had a random offer that felt like a lowball, so countered back and might have scared them away. In any event, still a good time to be a .us holder! :gl:

Thanks for the interesting read as always!
