Bachelor.com Moves Into New Pad At Top of DNJournal Sales Chart

The weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. Some of those high dollar domains that were sold at the recently concluded T.R.A.F.F.I.C. conference came out of escrow this week and went directly to positions on our Top Ten chart. A $125,000 package featuring Bachelor.com heads our new list. On the new extension side of the ledger, .US finally took a breather, opening the door for .info to sweep 6 of the 8 positions on our New TLD chart. Read all about it through the link below:

We think it is fair to assume that Bachelor.com represented at least $100,000 of the value in its package...

Tough decision on how to list this sale, as it was a package deal. As someone fairly new to domain sales, I was interested in what the breakdown of value between the .com, .net, and .org might be.

Your estimate of at least 80% of the money being for the .com suggests that .coms are >8x as valuable as .nets and .orgs; does that sound about right? How much do you think the price was inflated because it was a full set in the major tlds; what might they have gone for individually?
