Received payment for a pending sale today. Thanks for tying off the pending deals before you cut out the lights, guys. You can keep the $0.93 in V4P I made. :)

How much money did they actually loose?

None of us know what sort of role Latonas retooling their auction model played in the decision to nix BIDO (or, we should say, sell it- I think it's pretty safe to say that as long as their price expectations aren't delusional, it will be back online eventually) If anything, Latonas showed that a simple, totally straightforward auction concept can be done en-masse with domains on a regular basis, as opposed to the bizarre, highly complex 'domain name selling game' that BIDO had become with points and votes and profit shares and "BIDO Prices" and other strange, unnecessary nonsense...

Are they really selling much?

Obviously Latonas dumped their old model for the same reasons why Bido closed- sales were so low that it wasn't worth compiling the daily emails, even with just one person running it. I just visited Latonas.com and couldn't even find the auctions, that sites fails in an epic way. All I saw was talk about upcoming live auctions and ads for watch sales (which would give seller abolutely confidence in the auction house is they are trying to sell visitors watches). It reminds of of the old days where domainers would redirect all their traffic to casino sites, it is that kind of mentality, are things that bad that a domain broker/auction site needs to try and sell domainers watches?

Personally I doubt Latona's new model of daily auctions has any legs to it. I wish I did because if there was an active market I would use it but I really don't see how it is going to work looking at that site.

The last time I got looking at their auctions, most were relatively cheap. I didn't see the closing of all I witnessed but many I saw weren't even the $28 opening bid BIDO used.

i agree i went to latonas expecting to see a bit more ?

Don't think there are any refunds.

I have 34 bido credits and 24 guarantee credits. :(

Sad to see bido close, but not surprising, too many bells and whistles and not enough buyers, think this is true for most domain auction platforms atm.

Correct, they will not offer refunds!

I have 108 Bido Credits and I asked Jarred for a refund and that was his reply :

Hi Sameh,

At this time, I cannot refund on credits but I think I will get the new buyer of Bido honor them.

Regards,
Jarred
