I realize that there isn't a 'one size fits all' with domain auctions.

But, I'd like to benefit from the experience of other members here by asking about which, out of GoDaddy and Flippa, you think is the better of the two when it comes to selling?

Obviously, the bottom line is which gives best results in terms of sales, but other factors to consider are such things as cost of commissions, freedom to edit listings (Flippa seems quite good on that score from what I've read), ease in which to set an auction up, do GoDaddy give free appraisals on all domain auctions etc?

Or, is one better than the other depending on domain extensions?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Only two things have till now worked for me. Namepros and finding end user.

Sedo - If you have premium domain
Flippa - If you have domain related to internet, computer, IT
GD - For everything

I'd hoped for more feedback on this, but perhaps this thread provides a clue.

It involves a direct comparison between the sale of a certain domain on both platforms, with some stats thrown in.

Despite it being a couple of years old, maybe the conclusion still holds true.
