What is the best technique for indexing a new site in google?

I have been using social bookmarking with good success, but I was wondering what everyone else is doing.

For me, I always use blogging and pinging.

Insert your blog rss to IGoogle, and then ping, using pingomatic.

get your site listed on a PR 4-5 site and you should get indexed in a few days...
