Best way to Do keyword research

I myself use OVT,Google adwords ,number of search results & possible end users before selecting a keyword to register domain names.

Now-a-days I have started looking on recent domain sales too.

Is there any other prime factor in it?
Please share your opinions .

I use Overture to check the top bids for the keywords. I also use Google and Yahoo to see the quantity and quality of the ads that come up for the search. That's about it for me.

UPTO now I have looking only for quantity of advertisers & not on their quailty.
