At what time we should send an email to an end user. Should we send email in a day time when an end user is most probably in office or in an evening or night time.

What about day. Should we avoid send email on Sunday because it's most likely holiday.

What's your opinion ?

Now I'm wondering if the NameBio guy can run some stats and actually answer this question?

best day to cold call is wednesday... so best time to email would be the same. time of day will depend on the receivers time zone - sometime during work hours is more professional.

Our data wouldn't help with the end user question. The dates we have for end user sales are rarely going to be when the seller actually first contacted the buyer, as weeks or even months of negotiations could have followed before the sale. And many of them will have been inbound inquiries or even BIN sales.

I would read up on the best dates/times to send email newsletters, as that data is readily available and should apply to this question. I think it is generally Tues-Thurs with Wednesday being the best day, and usually in the AM. Definitely not Monday as people are buried in emails from the weekend, and definitely not Friday because people are mentally checked out or scrambling to wrap up the week. And not late in the day because if it doesn't get read right away it'll be buried by the next morning.

We did do an analysis of wholesale auction data and found Wednesday to be the best day for an auction to close, but that's about the extent that our data would be useful in "day of the week" analysis:

Best time is when they have too much money in pocket.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (but Wednesday is the best day).

Around 6 AM to 11 AM (endusers time zone) is the best hours to contact a enduser.

IMO..

If they are paid weekly, then you are selling to the wrong level.

Perhaps the most uneducated comment from you to date...

Send them during their business day, but early during the business day.

You don't want to be in the first bulk spam email flush of the day. (this is what overnight emails do)

You also don't want to be in on the end of day, people having their foot out the door, or boss is away.

You want it appear you are on their time zone, emailing them with your work the same time they are working.

BUT MOST IMPORTANT:

Have a domain that they really want.
