.mobi Best RPC yet for one of my mobi's!

I've had a few .05 clicks on my .mobi's, but yesterday I got a $3.76 click!! with SedoPro no less!

I was selling this domain for $50 but I think I'll take a wait and see approach as traffic builds.

Oh yeah, the domain was wwwMortgages.mobi :gl:

Please note: The OP's .mobi name is "wwwmortgages.mobi" parked at SEDO - not "mortgages.mobi" which is parked at TrafficClub.


FYI - "mortgages.com" in the "king" extension (com) is a PARKED PAGE with NO unique or compelling content to be seen. :blink:

And ... Go to READY.MOBI and enter "mortgages.com" to see how useful the "king" is to a mobile phone user - Using ready.mobi to check the mobile readiness of "mortgages.com" - it scored 3/5 and would NOT display in the emulator handsets. " :blink:

Yep, the bashers were right, we don't need any more TLDs like .mobi because the internet is filled with enough useful content on all the dot coms to satisfy the public.

PS. mortgages.COM = a parked page AND would NOT DISPLAY on mobile phone emulator :gl:

I'm not sure if these typos will be worth anything, but it is possible that they could get a lot of traffic in the future. I only have 2, wwwinsurance.mobi and one "prime" adult www typo. I'll keep these as wild cards, but not planning on regging any more.

We might be pleasantly surprised at their performance a couple of years from now, who knows.

I'd stick to that plan too! Mobi guidelines, rules, or whatevers!!, for domains were set so that only xxxxx.mobi needs to be typed in, not www.xxxxx.mobi. Not names I'd reg (or ever have!) for the little parking money they would bring in the .mobi world to be. JMO. :blink:

I agree, BUT people are so programmed at typing in 'www', they may do the same thing on their mobile browsers too. Time will tell. If they do, my wwwInsurance.mobi COULD be quite valuable. Huge gamble, to be sure, but taking risks in life is what makes it fun!

This is an amazingly high rev click but it seems like your suggesting the TLD some how determines or has a factor in what the click pays.

I wasn't aware of that, I have some names in probably the one of the least wanted Tld's available ( .Name ) that get many $1.15 - $1.70 clicks daily. One of the .names consistantly pays about .30 more per click than a very similar .com name I have. I've been wondering why, maybe it's the TLD since both have the same keywords and landing page. Hmm.

I have a fair few www???? .mobi's they seem to be doing quite well especially the adult ones like wwwxxx and wwwporn getting an average of 5-6 typein's per day!

I believe traffic and clicks derive more from a good name (KeyWords) than a more popular TLD. All though the popularity of the famous (.com) TLD will bring in the bread when selling.

Example You may have LoanPleaser.com but FastLoans.name will get more traffic, clicks and higher earnings per click.

You may have NiceCameras.com but DigitalCameras.name will beat it all day long.

I'm not usually a type-o guy, but I figured I could get a few of the most important mobile type-o's so I pulled the trigger.

BTW, bestloan.name seems to be available - you must be losing a heap of traffic to it, being the more popular singular version....

Exactly, but I wonder what the traffic figures at parked Mortgages.mobi are ... and if those have any potential relation to the traffic at the OP's parked wwwmortgages.mobi? :gl:

Regardless of the status of "mortgages.com" - how does a PARKED (parked at TrafficClub) and UNDEVELOPED Mortgages.mobi add to the critical "ecosystem", exactly? Acc? :talk:

Jeff, I don't know why you keep asking the same question. If you can't find the answer here, you can go to other place and maybe your questions will be answered. Everytime we came up with .mobi names, you ask "how does XXXXX.mobi (PARKED and UNDEVELOPED) add to eco&%*%$#?", "how does anotherXXXXXX.mobi (PARKED and UNDEVELOPED) add to eco&%*%$#?", and so on. I don't see your exact point Jeff. IF you want us to know that PARKED & UNDEVELOPED PAGE is bad for eco%$^$#, yes, we know the answer. The answer is NO (in my opinion), and that's the truth in all ext IMHO.
But why you keep asking it everytime?

We know the answer and you know the answer. PARKED & UNDEVELOP PAGE is BAD for eco%&^%^%$% in all ext.

That's is not a discussion, that's a WASTE OF TIME IMHO.
