Hi,

I need to reg 20 domains I know will get approved to Brandbucket.

I am looking to quickly flip them here on NP but I have a little decision to make.

I am not sure if I should reg them at GD, namesilo etc, registrars that are trusted and used by most of the domainers and that are also priced "ok" or if I should go with the cheapest registrar I find (Temok.com is the cheapest I found yet at $6.99, the site looks nice and their customer service was really good and helpful with me) to make the most profit, since I am looking for a quick flip, but that is unknown for most of the people here.

So what do you guys think is the best registrar option for a quick flip?

I wonder why you are not secure about Godaddy & others but you found "Temok.com" very nice.!!!" & that too just to register a domain.

I think you need to reconsider it...

I hope you are not doing a Promo for "Temok.com" which many of us are still unaware ;)

That's not what I said at all. I never said Godaddy & others are not secure, that's the opposite, 90% of my domains are reg'd at GD, but as I said, they're not the cheapest, so I'm not sure it's the best option for a quick flip.

And no, I'm not doing a promo to temok, I don't even have 1 domain with them right now.

use a mainstream registrar that majority of resellers are familiar with, those where members probably already have accounts with.

on the other side of this coin,
i guess you believe that bb acceptance equals value, and therefore such names will sell quickly to np members.

better hope np members believe the same fallacy.

Good Luck!

imo...

When it comes to a quick flip you shouldn't be taking price into mind, but registrar into mind. No registrar will let you transfer the domain out for 60 days..so if you register it at XVGSAETAE.com because they have some good sale going on, then odds are the person you sell too will need to also create an account there. Not only that, hopefully they offer fast/instant account transfers (believe me, some smaller places don't).

For quick flips you need a place people can easily create an account at (preferably they would already have an account there) and you know for a fact offers quick, free transfers to move the names from your account to their account so you don't have to wait 60 days. For this, I would recommend GoDaddy. Otherwise, maybe DynaDot or Enom..

If you are looking for a quick flip, reg price probably shouldn't be your first choice of things to consider but if the registrar is one that the people you will be trying to sell the names to will trust.

That being said, Namesilo as you mentioned could be a good choice as well as Namecheap and GoDaddy. There are a few others as well. I would stick with a registrar that has a trusted reputation and not one of those that most people have never heard of.

Keep in mind that since you said that you wanted a quick flip, you will need to consider the account change points as FPForum mentioned above.

Good Luck
