My personal favorite place to register domain names would be Namecheap. Use coupon code "EVENLOWER" to save $0.89 on your domain.

Your web host should have provided you nameservers. They can easily be changed in your Namecheap control panel.

godaddy seems to be pretty cheap.
But I personally have a domani reseller with axe9 domains ( http://axe9.myorderbox.com ) pretty sure the guy is using someone else's API... but it gives me a pretty good ammount of control over my domains, and my customer's domains. it was a free signup with no money down. Can't get much better deals.

But there's also like Enom and places like that for reseller.

Hope I Helped!

btw as a reseller with axe9. I get domains for $7.50/year for all extensions.

I usually reg at godaddy. I was getting domains <$4, but they have since closed their loopholes. I am now thinking about getting a reseller's account at enom.

I have been using domainsite.com a lot recently. They are very easy to use, and have some of the cheapest prices I have seen.
namecheap.com are also a good registrar, in my opinion. They have an excellent control panel, but the prices are a little steep compared to other registrars.

How much does a reseller account cost and what are the advantages? Also is eNom the only one that offers this?

You have a lot to learn. Just search for threads about 1and1 at this forum. You will not like what other people's experiences have been with them.

I have a WildWestDomainsReseller. (same as Godaddy) www.domains875.com

I pay $99/year subscription, I set myself up as a discount customer. then I buy domains from myself for $7.14 .com's + 0.25 per transaction (you can buy many domains in one transaction).

I'd be happy to set any namepro member up with the same discount plan i use myself. you'd get to save the $99/year subscription. I wouldn't get anything out of it. except maybe some referrals.

its not as cheap as when you find godaddy loopholes but the prices cheap and consistent.

domainsite is 6.99 .com's for the basic registration yeah thats cheaper than my reseller. i'm not sure what the BASIC means i guess you don't get forwarding/masking/email/.... but yeah if your just parking them you'll save 15 - 40 cents.

you can set the nameservers to whatever you want. everything else you could just get in any host's control panel anyway. Push is even free on a basic account!

I use NameCheap, they have a really good control panel in my opinion. $7.99 domains however so you might find them cheaper somewhere else.
