most of my names are at either godaddy or name. i wouldn't suggest 1and1 for anything though (hosting or domains).

No domain push service.. Easily hackable.. no customer service....

I won't even suggest Netfirms.com not even to my rival

I had a worst experience with them in my domaining, when I started domaining just for saving few pennies I had reg few names with them, later understand that they had charged my account without renewing domains and also due to their poor reputation you won’t even able to sell domains to any reseller.

Always stick to Godaddy or any other popular registers especially those are planning to hold domains more than year. Those registers are offering cheapest registration recover their registration discounts on domain renewal.
