Hi, I'm very new to .TV (only have 2) but I'm after one that is due to drop in a few weeks.

Where's the best place to backorder them, I beleive it is a NetSol reg so does that mean it'll still go to NameJet ?

Any tips on the best way to catch them would be most appreciated :tu:

Thanks

Namejet does not handle .tv's and I don't know of anyone who has successfully backordered a .tv.
In order to catch the domain you will either need a script or try to catch it manually on the day of the drop.

.TV is controlled by DM. They raise the price of .TV according to quality and demand.

As of this time, ahead.tv will be able to help you find new deleted .tv name.

Hope this help.

You should also check on ahead.tv as to whether it is a premium or not. You don't want to wait for weeks only to find out that the renewal fee is way too much.
Cancel the above....... if it's at netsol it won't be premium. :red:

I have found that the redeption period is 30 days in most cases (Not all), the domain status then changes to pending delete. Normally, the domain will drop and become available for registration five days later. I have however seen a domain name drop in 6 days instead of 5.

IMHO Ahead.tv does not list all the expiring domains. How many are missed I cannot say but I have picked up dropped domains that were not shown on Ahead.
