Best free ftp software?

smartFTP is the best ftp software i used.
i never tried filezilla.

Definitely worth trying Filezilla if you have not used it before.

And generally the build in ones are great on linux

Smart FTP is okay too. Filezilla doesn't have any of the nag windows like smart ftp does though.

I'm mainly using smartftp .. will try out filezilla maybe

I have SmartFTP and FileZilla - I use both but
I like the layout in smartftp, it remembers my info,
FileZilla doesn't.

I like Filezilla, I think it's the best free FTP out there. I've tried only 2 others though: SmartFTP and CuteFTP. I'd go with Filezilla.
