Best free ftp software?

Sorry for posting this here, but I wasnt sure where to do it. But what is the best Free FTP software?

If you have Windows just open up internet explorer and type this as the address:

ftp://username:[email protected]

It will open up a "My Computer" type of window where you can drag and drop files.

filezilla has always worked for me. Smart FTP is okay too. Filezilla doesn't have any of the nag windows like smart ftp does though.

SmartFTP too, it has a single window that displays once per entire startup so it doesn't bother me at all.

I find it easy to use and extremely good. :tu:

Fireftp for me!

Not only is this a great ftp client for your desktop, but pair fireftp up with portable firefox on a usb drive, and you're all set for anything.

*Especially useful when you need to maintain/develop offsite, working remotely, or traveling. (works in international internet cafes, hotels, etc.) No need to install a standalone app on a client's computer, or be frustrated that the hotel/airport/cafe computer won't let you install your ftp client. You'll always have a ftp app that you're familiar with.

I use FireFTP extension for Firefox most of the time. If I have to upload lot of files, I will go with FileZilla.
