I don't have any concerns that .top will be #1 soon.
.top is growing and growing and growing worldwide.

Ah, always here on time. Thanks for making me smile. :D
I'd say that .xyz should be third in this list in terms of interest. I've seen many good .org names being dropped, while it is becoming harder and harder to find a good .xyz name.
.org is more valuable than .xyz imo.
The only way I see .xyz would have value is in relation to china, but when I look at sites like 22.cn there is no mention of them. In my limited knowledge and gut feeling I would prefer .cc as a speculative investment, I would get a few 5n's.

Surprisingly, I'm beginning to see developed .xyz sites in the U.S and countries other than China. While .xyz does have a name that the Chinese can relate to, it seems to be picking up locally as well. Its cheap price and general meaning makes it easy for anyone to choose .xyz for their site. So how does it compare to .org? Some of the "heavy hitters" are in .org. But there are .xyz domains being used where the .org isn't even registered. This suggests that, at least as of now, it seems to be doing a bit better in one aspect.

I do think that .cc is a good speculative investment for China, as you said. :)

The best extensions are the ones that sell!
I bought a 1 word .us for 3.99 a few months ago and sold it to an enduser for $900 last week.
I normally wouldn't have sold the name that low but it would have been difficult to develope it myself.
All the inquiries I received this year has been for .com and .us.

A bunch of tld's have been around a while, means nothing.

I hope it becomes more popular.

It would be nice if some of these new gtld's would take off.

It is a gamble now, risky investments!
