SpaceshipSpaceship

My girlfriend saw what I do here and went out and started hand regging names. (I In Slow Motion - Nooooooo!) Anyway she got some names and felt bad when I told her they were all crap.

What is your best hand reg in the last year?

Why was it good (In terms of traffic, Profit, Ect.)?

Do you still hand Reg names?

How Many hand Reg's have you had? And how many turned out to be good?

I know it's still possible to do this and get really good names, but I wanted to show her it ain't easy.

Thanks Guys/Gals

No, it's not easy but it's very possible. You're not going to do it by coming up with names off the top of your head. You need to have a system in place.

Got thigh-master.com on a hand reg after dropping. It made $30 a month for the first three months parking, still makes a few. Had several hand reg's which I've flipped for mid xxx the same week.

I have to disagree.

Here are just the two that I just came up on top of my head in technology segment.

All in dot com and no spaces.

Wireless Area Network

High Speed Connectivity

I have others that are target specific.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

You can certainly hand reg names, but they probably won't be worth anything for a bit. All name were at some point hand regged...you just have to keep an eye out for emerging trends and favorable changes in the world.

Just my opinion of course.

As you say, emerging trends are a big factor in this game, lets take the economy at the moment!! Wonder how many are doing terms, like banking collapse, debt managament, chaep loans, you get my drift, EMERGING TRENDS :)

I agree.

They probably not worth much now but if you think long term the value will definitely be huge.

"7 dream Islands you haven't heard yet." According to Yahoo.

I hand regged two them before yahoo had an article about them.

Skomer Island

Amantani Island

No space and dot com of course.

I have so many and by the time I sort them out someone end up hand reging them.

The two I had in my available list since Feb 2008 and guess who hand regged them:

Menemeni.com
regged date 07-09-2008 by Rick Latona

Hornsbyshire.com
regged date 08-22-2008 by Rick Latona

Oops, just realised this was for .com :red:

DinnerwareSale/s in .com....both reg'd for $12, sold just yesterday for $200.

Believe it or not, I've had much better hand reg'd type sales with cctld's than .com....weird.

I'm pretty happy to have found HybridRadio.com available a month ago. It's the kind of name that could definitely become a product someday.

No need to apology jingles. The OP wants to know our best hand regged in .com

I made some decent profit in other ccTLD as well especially in .TV

And I would also like to see what others are after in .com

I think this would be my last post for now

Again no space and in .com

Apella Beach

Rated #1 in Europe's Best Beaches for 2003

So it seems to stick with current events and also watch for obscure Geo's making the news?

HybridRadio.com is pretty good. I could see as it switches from Engine to batteries you'd want the radio to be in sync. Maybe less power for battery, should be less noisey. Interesting reg for the future.

At least your gf gave it a shot. My significant other can't even be bothered.

Majority of my hand-regs are pretty bad. :(

How much do you like it? :$: :p

I know we're talking about .com, but I have a few nice (IMHO) hand-registered call-to-action .orgs.
alcoholkills.org
answercancer.org
cancerkills.org
choosewind.org
dontspy.org
fightoffcancer.org (and .com)
fightthewar.org
savefreespeech.org
takeanumber.org

You never know when a non-profit is looking for a new campaign based around a call-to-action phrase or domain. :)
